JUBILEE

Set design and art direction for the period drama Jubilee, set in the golden age of Hindi cinema in the 1930s. The project involved developing immersive studio environments that reflected the glamour, ambition, and complexity of early Indian film culture.

Working closely with the production design team, I contributed to the visual development of multiple sets from research and concept references to scaled drawings, prop sourcing, and on-set dressing. The process focused on transforming historical inspiration into tangible spaces that supported the narrative and brought the world of the story to life.

Through collaboration with carpenters, painters, and the wider production team, the sets were constructed and refined to ensure visual coherence on camera, creating environments that felt authentic, atmospheric, and lived-in.

The project explored how carefully designed environments can shape storytelling and immerse audiences in a fully realised world.
